Our commitment:

  • Provide facilities that are safe and welcoming.

  • Provide God-centered learning experiences.

  • Introduce basic Biblical concepts in the nursery and expand on those truths in preschool.

  • Help each child grow interest in the Bible and a personal relationship with God.

  • Create an interest in the beauty of God’s creation.

  • Assist parents in teaching their children about God.

  • Help each child grow their social and play skills.

Our nursery is open during both Sunday services, for all mid-week events (Life Groups, Equipping Classes and most special events). If you have questions, please contact Ben Coltrane.

TABC Nursery

  • Diapers are checked every hour

  • At least two staff will be present at all times, of which one will be 18 years or older.

  • Children who are crying will be comforted and held. If the child continues to cry for more than 10 minutes, we will contact parents.

  • We sanitize toys regularly and always wash toys which have been mouthed.

  • We routinely make sure no toys or equipment have been recalled or are broken.

  • We follow safe sleep practices and are trained in first aid and CPR.

  • All cabinets have locks on them and outlets are covered.

  • This is group childcare.  We strive to maintain the following staff/child ratio:
    Infants 1:3
    Toddler 1:5
    Preschool 1:8

Drop off

  • We will check your child in using our computer system.

  • You and your child will receive matching numbered stickers. Your child will wear his/her sticker while in the nursery. You will need to present your sticker when you pick up your child.

  • Inform staff if your child will need to eat or sleep while in our care, and any additional information we might need to know.

  • If your child cannot walk, hand your child directly to a staff member. We want to welcome each child and help comfort them.

  • Please leave all necessary items for your child’s care: diapers, a change of clothes, pacifiers, bottles, etc. We have cubbies available or you may leave a diaper bag. If you happen to have forgotten anything, we have back-up items we can use.

  • If you are leaving the facilities, make sure that you have a cell-phone and we have the correct number, in case we need to contact you.

Pick up

  • A staff member will re-unite you with your child and their belongings. They will update you of any pertinent information; ie if your child slept, took a bottle, etc.

  • We will only release your child to a person with the matching numbered tag.

  • Please pick your child up promptly after the service or group.

things to remember

  • As often as possible, please make sure your child is fed before arriving to the nursery.

  • Children who are not potty trained need to arrive in a clean diaper. We will assist in potty learning when the time comes.

  • If your child has a comfort item, please make sure to leave it with your child.

  • Please label all of your child’s belongings: pacifiers, bottles, bags, etc.

  • Please do not send toys with your child. We have plenty of safe, interesting toys to keep your child entertained.

PRESCHOOL Sunday School

Our preschool ministry provides children an age-appropriate overview of key Bible stories in the Old and New Testaments. Children learn to pray in a group, participate in story-themed activities including music and movement. The classroom is set up as a typical preschool with things such as a book nook, dramatic play area, blocks and trucks. A nutritious snack is served.
