Please pray for the Morris family for the loss of Evan’s father this past week. Brandi has also had some health concerns, but is on the mend. Please pray for the Lord to comfort them and lead them with healing and grace.
Bob & Judy Jones’ niece, Connie, is undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Please continue to pray for Connie, and for the Lord to provide His healing hands to comfort and guide her through this difficult period. May she know the Lord’s peace.
Please pray for Gracie as she prepares for a World Race Mission in June. Pray the Lord will prepare her heart, humbly and lovingly for the service of others. Pray also for a safe return.
Evan and Audrey, are preparing for important educational transitions for their two oldest children. To facilitate this transition, they will be returning to the States on home assignment this summer for approximately six months. They are seeking prayer for the following needs as they prepare for this move:
• An urgent need for housing in the area starting in August to accommodate their family of six.
• Finding appropriate schools in Emporia for their four children.
• Seeking wisdom regarding necessary orthodontic treatment for one of their children.
• Making necessary preparations before returning to the States.
Please pray for the TABC Search Committee as they move forward with seeking a candidate to serve as Associate Pastor. Pray for the person the Lord will call to serve our church and for unity in the congregation when the decision-making vote takes place in the coming months.
Emporia Christian School has several staffing positions to fill, and they are asking for prayer that these needs will be met. They are looking for teachers, aides, and custodial help. Please pray the Lord will provide good, long term people to fill these roles so the school can continue to grow and thrive. Thank you.
